It was definitely a VERY GOOD SURPRISE. SHE WAS CLUELESS.

Look at her smiling in the top 2 photos. with everyone behind her waving and making faces - and she DIDN'T SENSE A THING. for me, taking the photo, it was HILARIOUS. I was trying hard not to LAUGH! She just kept going, "i can't find my coins!" - cause she wanted to make a wish @ the wishing well on her birthday. -_-

Joshua's Birthday!

He was just a wee bit stunned when we got there...making us shout "surprise" & sing Happy birthday OUTSIDE his door - when finally, esther said, "are you going to let us in??"



wells, it's mid-November ALREADY. And it's almost a year that's past (i mean since I came back for 2008)! wells, let's leave the talk about how the year's been and such till the year is really over. (Christmas shopping for now! :D)

But i'm really looking forward to Christmas! Wait, actually...I'm looking forward even more to Chinese New Year next year! - cause I'm going to be back in Singapore for that! (missed it for 2 years!) WHEE. Reunion dinners, house-visiting, yummy food. Everybody thinks that I'm happy to be going back cause of the ang pows, but actually, no. Whether I'm back or not, I usually get most of the ang pows - that was when you were a little kid, you act cute, and you make sure your relatives remember that your parents had you. Nah, I'm kidding. It's just that it's a tradition that we go visiting and celebrate Chinese New Year for like 1.5 to 2 weeks. Visiting everyone we possibly know. The camaraderie, the light-hearted atmosphere, the "everything's-going-to-be-great-this-year" feeling that we had for CNY, that I miss.

And another thing I need to do before the year's over. I'm not so sure what's headed my way for 2009, where I should be, what I should be doing. I need to ask, for sure. And I'm sure He'll tell me something exciting. I hope it's equally exciting to me.
