Hi everyone,
HAHAHA.
And I had company when i flew back to Perth!
It was awesome time together - reading mags, talking, discussing, sleeping etc. We were so entertained throughout that 5+ hours! :)
then I came back and started work immediately, and we had a dinner party on saturday @ one of my colleagues' house, Yordanos. It was the "International Food/Curry stuff-your-face night". ahah. The food that was brought there were terrrrrifficc! migosh. as one phD student put it, "i love it that we're all foodies! everyone makes an effort!" There were like 7 kinds of curries, swedish pasta, naan bread and bread, lasagne, 4 kinds of desserts, drinks and small bites & nibbles.
My personal favourite was the Goat Vindaloo - spicy and tender. I've never tried goat meat before, but it was really not bad - I guess it's the way and amount of time that the meat was cooked therefore, there was no "goat" taste to it.
My own curry was the malaysian-style kinda curry - which apparently was too hot for most of them! (when i had already toned down on the spiciness of it...I enjoyed it myself!) It was a great night of just hanging out, meeting everyone's partners/family AND eating lots:

Then Si came over for a week during the beginning of July:
She was fairly independent cause I had to go to work...but she experience "life in Perth"! haha. She took the public transport, be like a local and went around quite a bit on her own...melis joining her for some days...
And then on saturday, we went down to Swan Valley! (gina came along!) and we chanced upon this farm animals cuddling place which was loads of fun without the huge cost of visiting a zoo! It was only $8, and u could hug, carry, feed all the animals in that place. We spent so much time there!
Then came 13:30 Unveiled Camp 2008:

I missed 2 days but stayed for most nights - I had pretty good fun too. And I did enjoy the driving down and up for the sights! (but had a scary morning ride one of the days because of the heavy rain and strong winds)
Then Jiarong's birthday came:

alrights, so anyway...so for the past 3 months many things happened. And I won't bother updating much. I guess I'll just go straight to what's happening now (that should just teach me a lesson about trying to update 3-4 months in a go).
But think I'll start updating from the next post onwards. haha. I've done alot today.
