Somewhere along the way, I realised that I need to realign my focus back on God, I need to know the benchmark is Him, not me. Not find myself, but find Him in myself.
Somewhere along the way, I realised that Love is by Choice, not circumstance. He gave His life for me, for us, who are unworthy. Totally undeserving. Don't even try to justify yourself by comparing with other sinners. A while back, I was just driving along Mounts Bay, and I looked out towards the river, and see people walking along it - and then thought, why are we still able to stand and walk? why are we still able to enjoy life? God could have zapped everyone off the face of this earth, but He didn't. Cause He loved us THAT much.
As much as I have receive, as much I want to give. And Grace is undeserved favour - love is by choice, not circumstance.

WOAH. this week has been birthday loads. okey la. not loads. just 2.
Moses's birthday!

We surprised him by like getting Alvin and Jean to ring his doorbell (before that we informed his mum already) and said that they needed to talk to him and may was like sitting in the car going to cry that kind. And he was shocked/serious about it. And he asked them if they wanted to go in, but Alvin was like "Oh, I would prefer to talk to you outside." -SMART.
And before that happened. funny thing was what his mum told him. "Amos, when you hear the doorbell, go and open the door." so he was like, "What?!" - When I heard that i was like, OMG. auntie...aahhaha. but it was so funny.
So then when he walked out, we were all hiding behind the car and we went SURPRiSE!..he was truly surprised. ahah. in his speech he was like, this is the most memorable birthday i ever had (to which may went, "yah, right.") and he really didn't expect it cause he was like, "i really thought there was a problem...cause may looked like she was upset!" ahha
so it was a good surprise and a good time.
THEN, it came to MH's birthday!
She ar. tskk. first thing, tell me can she don't come cell. cause she has a gathering with friends. and after i probed further, she was like, oh, actually it's my birthday la...then they want to celebrate with me..then i'm like. in a moment of panic. "but we also have things planned for u!" so wells. i basically said we have a surprise awaiting.
so throughout the week, i & jia were thinking how to surprise her and we had a few ideas from different people (must give credit..ahha)
finally, the plan was have cell, at the end of cell, have mini celebration, then tell her i need to talk to her, but then joshua and eve has to chase us out cause they need to sleep early for project the next day, so we have to leave, so i suggested going utopia to talk and drink - which 1] talking about cell is normal. 2] talking AT utopia is normal too.
So we drove there, and she was like, OH, wah, so many people today. then she was like. EH. I think I saw Ian. then nearer somemore, EH. our cell people!
then she realises. then when she reaches, we sang a birthday song...and there u go:

The first 6 photos were in cell - celebrating for her using a small brownie and a cookie contributed by Yixin. Oh and we had delicious pizza from Antonio's blessed by Anwen and lychee drinks blessed by Angela.

The whole group photo! whee~

"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God when one sinner changes his heart and life.”
Luke 15:10
Our faith is
not in religion; our faith is
in God. A hardy, daring faith that believes God will do what is right, every time. And that God will do what it takes—whatever it takes—to bring His children home.
He is the shepherd in search of his lamb. His legs are scratched, his feet are sore and his eyes are burning. He scales the cliffs and traverses the fields. He explores the caves. He cups his hands to his mouth and calls into the canyon.
And
the name he calls is yours.
He is the housewife in search of the lost coin. No mater that he has nine others, he won’t rest until he has found the tenth. He searches the house. He moves furniture…All other tasks can wait. Only one matters. The coin is of great value to him. He owns it. He will not stop until he finds it.
The coin
he seeks is
you.
