I was away from the net for a while cause I shifted and so the utilities take a while. It was good though. I wasn't having any withdrawal. haha. If it were say 2 years ago, I think it would have been different.

So now, for updates:

Saturday 15th March 2008 Horseriding!

I crashed (apparently) O'connor's "cell-outing". hurr. eh, but I really wanted to go horseriding! I've been wanting since I came to Perth! u can ask jen and mel! really!




Monday 17th March 2008 Pet's Convo!

The girls! Wells, we also had a pic with everyone - BUT, it's with Joel. And when i say it's with joel, u can expect to see it within the next 10 years but not anytime soon.


Saturday 22nd March 2008 Vibe Easter Party 2008

Not as filled as last year's! Food was incredibly good. But too bad the attendance wasn't exceptionally good - we overcooked! Kinda feel that this year's one was more appropriate with the message a the end and such.

Thursday 27th March 2008 Vibe Kardi Beach Outing!

Though there were only about 6 of us...we still had considerable fun! I'm still sunburnt on my back from then. And it's super red. Am I supposed to apply something to let it heal faster?





hmms. and I had Yvette stay with me for almost a week! wheee it was absolutely delightful to have u around - jamming, eating, going out, whatever. HAHA. It was a wonderful week!

And now to come, I'm starting work tomorrow. And, I don't know what time I'm supposed to be at work. Like great right. I asked before. Then i forgot. then i forgot to call in and ask today. tskk. I'll just have to be there early. at like 8am. yawns.

Will update as I go along. Tomorrow's just induction, orientation, sign papers, and all the little admin stuff i guess - hope I get to go home early! hurrr!

as u can see, as much as I'm excited over my new job and enthusiatic about working, i'm also concern with my leave + any chance I can get to go off. =D

Monday 10th March

Tuesday 11th March

I have a job offer from Telethon Institute of Child Health Research! Wheeeee! =D

Wednesday 12th March

Accepted job offer from Telethon! wheeeeeee! So. it's just a story of grace and favour all the way! My interview was last wednesday. just before my parents arrived. And when my mum saw what I was wearing - she reckon i won't make it. Because she said I was too casual. That made me feel abit dejected. And she had to keep reminding me - like "sure don't have already la." "by now, no news must be don't want to hire you." that kind of stuff. But I said, I'll reject that and trust God's favour with my interviewers and situation. And so, I didn't really worry about it - but had that on my mind - I handed it over to God and waited! and wheeee! I got it! =) I believe that He not only blessed me with this job, He blessed me with a great boss, with a great working environment, great working benefits and terms!

Liz, yours is coming soon! next in line! =D

Then I went down to murdoch area, and got to catch up abit with my Dey! ahhaa. and yes, driving Scarlett around town. She's pretty, and rather nice to drive. but too bad, I can't redeem her yet. Apparently Isaac could purchase her because he was harvesting kidneys, then selling babies. I know. I'll get pastor to talk to him - i can't handle this yet. (no wonder he was pretty shocked when we told him we're running low on ice for the drinks. - he had something else in mind) And he's such a...kan chiong spider they call it? "2 hands on the wheel!" "AHHH!" "SLOWLY!" "BE CAREFUL OF THAT CAR" (when the car is like the next direction about 500m away) "wait, don't turn!" "NO talking!" "Follow the rules!" "Don't bother about the radio!" - yes, all that screaming and more in just a round around prescott to south st to johanson promenade, to gratwick and back to prescott. Not long at all. all completed within 5 mins. hurr

But I had a wonderful evening with Dey!

Thursday 13th March

The confirmation of the house we applied for came today. We got it too! WOAH. =D and so we paid up everything and are officially tenants of our new place. So we're moving in this weekend. so exciting. Jean and I are going to make it the "House of the year" hurrr. we went ahead and thought "oh, which room do you want?" "we should have a housewarming party" "tea party" "oh, we should have a bbq" "oh, that day I saw one for $99" till gabriel was like "are you guys buying a bbq?!?!" - then we looked at each other and...."no la..we saying only ma." hurrrr ahhaha. the FUN of DREAMS.

the agent took such a long time to get the documents ready - that we were like, what was he doing before we came?! (cause we were late for the initial appt time and we already told him we were going to be late)

Then at night, I was talking to Pet, and i mentioned that she has a letter - which is the renewal of driver's licence and at a part of the letter it had stuff on organ donation.



To which she asked me, "eh. if i have a licence in sg, then i have a licence in wa, then who gets my organ in the case of *you-know-what*"

then i went, "oh..you have 2 kidneys what. just give one to each country loh"

then she went (THIS is the moment you've been waiting for -) "OH. YOU MEAN I HAVE 2 KIDNEYS?!"

MWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. migosh.

then of course, of course, who wouldn't do what she did next.

"so wait. lemme count. i have 1 heart, 1 lung, 1 kid - no wait, apparently 2 kidneys, how many livers?"

"technically u have 1 set of lungs - but 2 parts to a lung. and ONE liver" HAHAHAHA

"and I have 1 rib? or 2 ribs?"

"AHHAHAHAHA. YOU HAVE MORE THAN 2 RIBS MY DEAR! HAHAHA. you see the one u eat, the rack of ribs got how many ribs?! A pig already has more than 2 RIBS loh!!"

Hilarious i tell you. Hilarious.
