I've got 126 pages and 21.5k words already but I still got 40 pages of stuff to edit! HOW..WTH?! I'm going overlimit! And my sup needs it latest by 4.30pm. but as I said, I've got 40 pages to edit! ='S

The other day pet stayed over at my place, we invited ahboy over for dinner too, and we had:

1,2] mushrooms + garlic for the chinese olives rice! 3,4] Pork ribs + reddates + water chestnut + watercress for soup!

before & after Handmade Gyoza!

The yummy chinese olives rice + Roast chicken that was going at 1/2 price!

Now, and I did mention that I moved house. Therefore, in a moment of.....knowing that I will miss my old house, the luxury of it, the "party central" (as coined by joel) I took some photos of it, be4 I left the place.

So far, it's the best house I've stayed in, I mean the physical aspects, location, erm, and security.

And now, for my new house, (bubbles!) see how much FOODstuff I brough over! (I haven't unpacked the rest)

I filled the areas that was previously either empty or almost empty! WOAH. haha that's like 4 shelves on the side cupboard + 1 long shelf in the cupboard at the top. And I found more space! but i'm going to put off my packing first.

I was in a don't-want-to-do-work mode today - but I had to finish some stuff to send it off to my sups - and I started doing sub-standard work. I was kinda frustrated because I know after that when I snapped out of this mode, I'll delete everything and it's a waste of my time. I struggled to get it done. Then I just sent whatever I had la. I'll continue editing as they read it.

Now, i'm settled down, done whatever I want, and ready to start writing again. done with my abstract, materials and methods, need to finish editing my results + discussion + conclusion, then edit my lit review, and ready to show the entire thing again to my sups TOMORROW. BUT that's a huge mouthful to do tonight. SOB! BUT i need to get it done by tomorrow. NO alternative. it's tomorrow or NEVER (not exactly..BUT that's not the point). SOB!

you insects and moths and whatever, I command you to stay OUT of the house, 10M away from the boundaries of this house. in Jesus' name, amen. (hey, one of my pastors did that to his house infestation of cockroaches and it worked!)

Hi all, "fans" of my blog. I shall not disappoint u further and blog about something - whether or not it is of interest to you.

well, latest news? I've moved house. I'll not disclose my address here. But I'll email those whom I'll email. (lol. I'm talking like ellie - i'm under the influence - of ellie that is)

yarps. and this place is nice and cosy. BUT one thing. it's suuuuuper dark outside. I mean, the garage leading to the door of the house. I CAN'T SEE A THING! and it's scary. and it's.......dark. yes dark. I'm going to go buy a night light and stick it to the wall or something. (can I bubbles?) taking into account that I'm not easily scared, see how important this is!

and i'm obsessed with the portable vacuum cleaner. I like switching it on to suck up dirt, hair strands, and other random stuff on the floor.

oh. and bubbles, ur kitchen/pantry has not enough space for my foodstuff. HAHA. I need a separate bookshelf for the foodstuff that I brought over man! ;]

and in other news. twin has reached scots. and she touched someone's breast. yes. don't worry, she's not arrested. it's all fine.

and and and in the latest latest news! I've handed in an essay that's apparently part of my honours "work" but not part of my honours "work". I went back to sch to hand it in, and then I talked to the school administrative lady, who collects all these assignments and such and sends it off to the examiners. I said something about the essay sometimes not being marked and they actually don't look at the essay unless something's really bad with the thesis and they need to pull the grade or something. and she said yah, they sometimes don't even look at it..and so everyone's just wondering what to do with the essay and such and they just put it at a side. then I'm like O_o. then she said further that next year, there'll be NO essay due for the honours student. i'm like O_O. wah lao eh. then she said that cause the essay's requirements are like not clear and such. like some people don't hand in, some people don't do it, some examiners don't mark it..blah blah and so they reviewed it and decided to do away with it. and so. I don't know what will become of my essay. but anyway, it's done and handed in, now just concentrate on my thesis.

thesis-wise, I'm done with all the drafts a while ago and have been editing it since my supervisor came back. now, when u hear editing, don't think that's it's only a little bit left. it's still a HUGE chunk to edit. and editing takes alot of effort, cause u've got to rethink ur stuff, structure it differently, research more on a certain area, write more, cut out, blah blah. it's taxing, maybe even more than the 1st draft! and by the way, did I mention i hate referencing? apparently everyone does. my supervisor, my colleagues. lol.

Now, I'm going to continue with my thesis and.......discuss with my sups tomorrow.

I had a good (not excellent though) meal of Peri-Peri Chicken that apparently took 35 minutes to cook. It was a small spatchcock with shoestring fries (was actually polenta cake, but I changed it) + lemon oil+ a few strands of salad. The lemon oil was fantastic. LOL. the chicken was alright, but think it was slightly overcooked cause the meat was slightly tough. But the peri peri flavour was there though it was char-grilled not wet saucy kind like the nando's one. I liked the flavour of it, especially the skin of the chicken!

I'm hungry now. Going home to cook some dinner! yahoos!

I seriously wanted to go home after service to do my work immediately. WHO KNOWS, they kidnapped me again! I pleaded and pleaded and pleaded to go home after brunch. Finally, they let me go home, but not before they came over to take potos and slacked. HAHA. Weather was so hot somemore, all don't want to move la.

actually i have la, a PICNIC bar and chips. Like so....unhealthy. HAHHAA. then i buy for what right. exactly. that's why I don't like to buy them. but i always tell myself haiyah, will eat them one. but i don't. TSKK. then they expire. LOL. I need EGg to help me finish my snacks! (before they expire for that matter..)

I just had an amazing fellowship with Jin over the phone for like 1hr 3mins. AND we have a dream! HAHAHA. a "burning" desire to see it come to past in His name.

And and and, I just downloaded this music clip off Arrow (NCC's Campus Ministry) Pastor Benjamins & Pauline's website regarding the service that they just had on the 10th Nov 2007. It was ministry time at the end of the service and he was asking for people to come up to be ministered to la. He was preaching on the valley gate in Nehemiah, on the purpose of trials, factors leading to it and how to get out of it... And he said this in his blog:

"It was a music of running keys on a piano or harp that came on at the end of the song item when i stood up on stage and wanted to start praying for people. That strange sound happened and my immediate thought was the keyboardist is going out of tune or something!!! I turned and gave a stern look to ask them to stop. i saw that the keyboard players' hands were off the keyboard but the music went on. Jen the guitarist switched off the keyboard but the music went on. In fact, the sound man told me later that they brought the volume in the house speakers to zero but the music went on. By now i knew that it was something supernatural and we just had a visitation from the Lord. Then what came to my mind was the chimes that played by itself a few years ago on thursday night bible study and the scripture that says in Revelation 1:15 "His voice as the sound of many waters" We had awesome time with the Lord ministering to many. I believe it is a sign to confirm the message, the ministry and His blessings on His people. God is a God of the Valleys! So no matter what valleys you are going through, He will carry you through for He is with You, never leave nor forsake you!"

WOW. I listened to it and it was really running keys/melody that just kept going. it's definitely not someone playing cause it not the kind of "ministry" song that someone would play...it's not the fixed song that is for "ministry" kind. And pastor just went "don't worry about the music. I don't know where it's coming from". I bet the anionting then was so strong. And the songs they sing always super EMO one. HAHA. and and and I remember the chimes one in main service years ago. IT was also COOL. somemore caught on VIDEO loh. super. HAHA and I remember Pastor went, "I don't know why the video girl stunned then la..take my back view of my head instead of the chimes." LOL. but after that she did turn to the chimes la. HAHA

My goosebumps came up loh. and it was WOAH cause after talking to Jin...then listen to this..haha. aww. I miss all of u.

OMG. I admit now, I have NEVER watched powerpuff girls. *shy*

So, when pet commisioned me as Blossom. I have no idea who she is. HAHAHA. so, today, happened to think about it for a moment cause my cousin sent me a postcard previously which has a powerpuff girl sticker on it, and I was wondering WHICH powerpuff girl it is (i remember bubbles is blue and buttercup is greeen but I didn't know blossom is the pink one and I wasn't 100% sure of the rest too- my cousin's sticker is the pink one)

So I googled it and there was a quiz - "which powerpuff girl are YOU?"

AND I did it with almost no knowledge on them - AND i tried to cheat by choosing the answers that were probably not blossom for a few questions. the only thing I knew about blossom was that she was da leader. so for question, "what's your favourite course in school" (or something like that..) I purposely don't choose "leadership" HAHA. (not that I would have chosen that but at least I made an "informed vote") HAHAA BUT BUT BUT. Look what I got:

I was carrying 4 boxes (2 medium/small ones in 1 big one, and 1 big one) + my bag, walking home.
(think of it as pathetic as possible)

THEN.

ONE stupid fly had to come disturb me. It followed me from outside my workplace ALL THE WAY home. MAN! I kept shaking my head - cause remember I was carrying big boxes, where still got hands?!. And so it kept buzzing around me, kept landing on my face, my hand, the boxes, everywhere la! (everytime it only allowed me 2 secs to think it was gone for good before bursting my hope)

And so u can imagine this strange girl walking home carrying 2 big boxes, keeps shaking her head and stopping in her tracks for 2 secs once in a while while adjusting her boxes and bag.

When I reach the location where I was near the postoffice (i was walking home that's why I was there), I burst out in a laughter and smile. I held back though, cause there were people around - didn't want to add another crazy title to myself other than the above paragraph. I was so amused at myself getting irritated by a stupid fly, and visualising the scene whereby I'm looking at myself as a third person. HAHAHA.

Then I ask God silently, "God, why did u make these irritating creatures?!" The reply came to my head immediately as though someone said it to me! I was SURPRISED myself! Cause it really felt like God said that to me! ANYWAY, whether anot u think it was God, the reply was,

"Who? Humans?"

(I told u God has a sense of humour!)

To which I retorted, "no Dad! FLIES and cockroaches!"

But be careful, student. For if we are saved by having exact doctrine, then one mistake would be fatal. That goes for those who believe we are made right with God through deeds. I hope the temptation is never greater than the strength. If it is, a bad fall could be a bad omen. And those who think we are saved by suffering, take caution as well, for you never know how much suffering is required.

It took Paul decades to discover what he wrote in only one sentence: “A person is made right with God through faith.” Not through good works, suffering, or study.

I had a wonderful dimsum lunch + tea with Pet + ^5pal (no potos taken though, did we? - surprisingly!) AND, I thought that was enough highlight and meeting up for the day. BUT.

We met up again at night for Analakshmi dinner! OMG. I don't know how I got myself into it la. must be heartmelt after hearing how much they wanted to see me. So I allowed myself to go. HAha!

They adjourned to MOON cafe, while I insisted to go home. They played UNO, said and discussed a dozen things. and hanged out till really late. awwww. I wished I could have joined u guys! BUT. nvm. wait till I finish.

4th Nov 2007 Red Bull Air Race 2007 Perth

We arranged to wake up early for 1st service.

And indeed, as expected, I woke up LATE. I woke up when Gloria called.

Gloria: Saraaah..we're leaving house now.
me: OMGosh. I just woke up!
Gloria: okey, you have 5 minutes to get ready.

(I admit, I squirmed out of bed instead of jumping right out. I took 15 mins instead! yikes!)

So went through service, and we left almost immediately after for our AirRace2007! BUT before that, we separated into 2 groups and went to get food, heat up food whatever before meeting again @ my house to walk to the venue!

I was just checking out my mail. and I decided to check out my "Chats" folder. Pet, congratulations, your frequency of talking to me = your frequency of going to the toilet within your household. the ratio is almost the same! HAHAHAHA!
