Thank you Lord, for only You know and You matter.

In life, we may be misunderstood frequently. But all that matters is that You know what my heart is for and You know what my heart thinks. For every misunderstanding, I thank God that each one of them may be resolved and relationships reconciled. But if in any case that the misunderstanding is not necessary to bring out or resolved or can't be resolved, I thank You Lord that You are my witness and You know my heart. Realization of the truth might or might not come one day (but of course I would hope it does..) but it doesn't matter that much (anymore). Thank You Lord that You are my comforter and my best friend and for the wisdom, favour, peace and joy that covers me like a shield.

For A thousand may fall at your side,And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Amen!

Just read this off someone's (Sean's) blog and decided to post it up here too..I guess he doesn't mind too cause Christ is preached right! =D

Are You Jesus?

A few years ago a group of salesmen went to a regional sales convention
in Chicago. They had assured their wives that they would be home in
plenty of time for Friday night's dinner.

Well, as such things go, one thing led to another. The sales manager
went longer than anticipated and the meeting ran overtime. Their flights
were scheduled to leave out of Chicago's O'Hare Airport, and they had to
race to the airport.

With tickets in hand, they barged through the terminal to catch their
flight back home. In their rush, with tickets and brief-cases, one of
these salesmen inadvertently kicked over a table which held a display of
baskets of apples. Apples flew everywhere.

Without stopping or looking back, they all managed to reach the plane in
time for their nearly missed boarding. All but one. He paused, took a
deep breath, got in touch with his feelings, and experienced a twinge of
compassion for the girl whose apple stand had been overturned.

He told his friends to go on without him, waved goodbye, told one of
them to call his wife when they arrived at their home destination and
explain his taking a later flight.

Then he returned to the terminal where the apples were all over the
terminal floor. Upon arriving he certainly was glad he had.

The 16 year old girl was totally blind! She was softly crying, tears
running down her cheeks in frustration, and at the same time helplessly
groping for her spilled produce as the crowd swirled about her, no one
stopping, and no one to care for her plight.

The salesman knelt on the floor with her, gathered up the apples, put
them into the baskets, and helped set up the display once more. As he
did this, he noticed that many of them had become battered and bruised;
these he set aside in another basket. When he had finished, he pulled
out his wallet and said to the girl, "Here, please take this $20 for the
damage we did. Are you okay?"

She nodded through her tears. He continued on with, "I hope we didn't
spoil your day too badly."

As the salesman started to walk away, the bewildered blind girl called
out to him, "Mister...." He paused and turned to look back into those
blind
eyes. She continued, "Are you Jesus?"

He stopped in mid-stride, and he wondered. Then slowly he made his way
to catch the later flight with that question burning and bouncing about
in his soul: "Are you Jesus?"

Do people mistake you for Jesus? That's our destiny, is it not? To be so
much like Jesus that people cannot tell the difference as we live and
interact with a world that is blind to His love, life and grace.
If we know Him, we would live, walk and act as He would.
Knowing Him is more than simply quoting Scripture and going to church.
It's living the Word as life unfolds day to day.

We are the apple of His eye even though we, too, have been bruised by a
fall. He stopped what He was doing and picked you and me up on a hill
called Calvary and paid in full for our damaged fruit. He gives us the power to live like we are worth the price He paid.

Amen. Just so suddenly as I was posting this, I realised..yah..He's moulding me now. He has put me in different circumstances, circumstances that I've never been in before, and He's moulding me into something He wants me to become.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

It's hard being Christ-like sometimes. But I thank God that strength to go through all these does not come from me but from the Lord. When I'm beaten down, I rise and look to Him who gives me strength to carry on, strength to rise up and gives me the grace to lift my head again and to give to others. Sometimes I wish that the process is instant. (Instant Gratification?) But I also know that it is through the process that you understand whatever you are today was because of what happened yesterday.

Psalm 138:8
"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands." - Be assured that if you continue in Him, the Lord will most certainly fulfill His purpose for you.

I'm looking forward for a burst of a fresh touch of love from Daddy and a spring season of overflowing peace and joy. Blessings that I can't contain and I want to know -- really really know in my heart who He is.
