Heyas! It's been a week since the first day of School and it's been a HECTIC one!..Been kept SHO busy all the week! Even today and tomorrow as well!

Assignments have already started and this sem looks quite packed too! I hate the timetable though. Long breaks in between and i'm not exactly staying like 5 mins away from home (read: walking). 2 days of 8.30am starts. 3 days of late finishes. What the ?!#$%#^ But supposedly, my friend (who has already completed this sem last year) said that this sem was much more relaxed then last sem. I HOPE SO. But then again...she didn't take BMS368. And 368 has a really HEAVY LOAD. Like must read super super many journal articles la! First day of school already have 7 articles ready for us to read. I don't mind reading - but sometimes the terms the professional scientists use...erm what was that again?? - then have to guess what's it first then check up on it. And in the same unit we have a MAJOR project/assignment which is due at the end of the teaching semester. It consist of a 6000 word essay and an oral presentation. I chose to do on Multigenic Disorders and they assigned a gene to me - Neurogulin 1 - supposedly related to Schizophrenia, think Alzhemier's as well and some other physiological dysfunctions.

But BMS368 sounds interesting and looks interesting la. It's may need a lot of effort to score and stuff but i think it's going to be a interesting learning experience. Like last sem's MoD.

Spoke to one of my program chairs about honours today and I guess I'm more inclined to Clinical Honours. I still think it's more interesting than internal honours - which unless the project interests me. But my guess is that I would go for Clinical Honours. So going through the different names and contacts now and I'll start sending out emails next week!

Thursday's Market Daze was pretty fun (albeit wet) as well. How come my orientation that time don't have??(or did i just miss it cause there were lessons?) - but well...the clinic that i always wanted to check out - Chiropractic Clinic - had a booth too! And I did a quick 2 min checkup. He said everything was fine just that the part near my neck was abit soft and he could feel tension kinda thing - and I said my shoulders would always ache and stuff and he's like yah...cause of the tension built up there. So anyway, the first time u visit the clinic, they do a 1.5 hours consultation for u (which i'm going next week...), then analyse and decide what they should do for u. And I asked so what are some of the things that they would do and he rambled on about what are the stuff...and one of them was DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE!!! My eyes literally LIGHTED up hearing that. I LOVE MASSAGE. (Just don't tickle me) And so so...the cost is pretty alright - $20 for the consultation and $15 for subsequent sessions - offer valid for Murdoch Students i think.

Been rainy everyday this week. Thank God it wasn't before this week. Let us have our fun and then when school starts, rain everyday. But then again, sometimes it's really troublesome to go to school when it rains. Argh. And it makes it so much colder with the wind and rain. So wintery. But i think and hope it's ending soon - cause I saw small flowers blooming in full glory on my lawn! HAHA =D

Alrighty, I got to work early tomorrow and I've got to catch sleep. So tired today. Yawns...nites!
