SO BLESSED
Opps..another 15 days since i last posted an entry. heheheh
Anyway, as above, I am so blessed!! I just found out today that my work (my final year project) was published in the ISBT (International Society for Blood Transfusion) Vox Sanguinis Journal!! Just recently published only and I wonder if my supervisor knew cause she didn't tell me. But I'm very happy....it's as good as winning a prize to me!
It happened that this deputy director of CTM photocopied my published article (might be him who submitted for me..cause it's either him or my supervisor) for my junior who is the intern this year for reference for his upcoming project. And my junior came to me asking if that was my work. I stunned for a while and look real hard at the piece of photocopied paper and he asked (wondering why i was all quiet), "Is that you? or is it blahblah (this other senior who came to CTM before me)?" Then i "woke up" and was like, "It's MY work!"..ahahahaha...I was soo caught by surprised that at the moment, I was exhilarated! hehehe
So I immediately asked him to help me photocopy a piece of that for me. HEH..now I have a copy of it. Thought of how I could get a copy of that journal. But can't...it's only available for members of ISBT - which are either affiliates (companies) or paying members - which is not cheap. Hope to get my hands on the issue one of these days.......
So now i'm contemplating photocopying a thousand pieces of that article or laminating my only one. HAHA....just jokin'...

My grace is sufficient for you.I was just sharing with sharon today (ouch! I just pulled a strand of hair out of my scalp while taking off my glasses...-.-'') that His grace is sufficient for us TODAY. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow, His mercies would be new, His grace would be new. There is grace sufficient for us every single day. Nothing will happen that you and God cannot handle (actually not you but God).
And today, pastor was teaching about confessing the word. Speaking forth the word of faith. Indeed, we are part of a royal priesthood. Therefore, act like kings! and speak and it shall be done. He quoted verses such as Ezekiel 37 - where the Lord made him prophesied over the bones. And AS HE PROPHESIED, things happened. Mark 4:26-29 - the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. When you speak forth, you do not know how it would come to past, but over time, it had come to past without you knowing it.
and something else my band leader shared was that SERVING means giving God the devoted attention. It does not need to be doing something for him. Like the story of Mary and Martha, Martha thought she was serving. By occupying herself with trying to provide food for Jesus, she thought she was doing what she should be doing for Jesus. But He is the one who fed the crowd with 5 loaves and 2 fishes, does He need food? Martha was actually going about doing her daily chores. But mary. Mary chose the good part - sitting at Jesus' feet. She did the right thing at the right time. She gave Jesus her devoted attention. She was the one who was actually serving him. When you serve him, He will cause you to do the right thing at the right time too. Mary was the only one who got to anoint Jesus before His death. When He rose on the third day, other women came to anoint him, but He was already not there. She was the only one who got to do it. And because she served him, He promised that her name shall be known - because she chose the good part. Therefore, when you sit at His feet, you are serving Him. As pastor had said, things of God are simple but powerful.
