God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called

Once again, pastor reminded us about how God uses the "small" things of the world or humble and unpolished believers to confound the wise and proud. Indeed, thank God that He does that - or else, where would we stand?

1 Corinthians 1:26-28
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.

Therefore the statement above is totally true! God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called! Amen!

Uberadicals at Avenue of Stars still

Peng. Well, what can I say. erm, she gives us silly fun and cheap thrills. Everytime I open up her Classic Photo (Yes, that's her screaming in the previous pix), I end up on the floor laughing.

Si. A very good helper. really. Without her, we would probably be missing our breakfast, leaving hotel late, be caught in the rain without umbrellas, blah blah. So she's really useful. Just kidding about the word useful.

Chelle. spontaneous, and amazingly fun to be with. And her impersonation of someone talking while doing business in the toilet is perfect.

Son. My top expert in IT. going to help me develop the toe-print technology. And someone I believe worthy of Chelle's affection.

You wouldn't believe it. This is the girl who got electrocuted while gaming. This is Melis. aka, the shopping queen.

The battle the night before was memorable. muahaha

Ahh, that's the true photo. I really got to bring our friendship to another level with Chee in this trip. Really thank God.

Mimicking the Classic from Peng and also saying WE don't want to go home!

The Flight Back to Singapore!

Second time serving in Children's church today...

Man...I don't know what happened and I played the wrong chords and messed up my songs. Haix.....grace grace...

But nevertheless, I had fun. I had fun serving, ya, serving with wonderful brothers and sisters and kids. haha...some were really naughty, but some adorable.

Looking forward to my next serve, and in the meantime, strengthen my playing - more fills, remember what they said during debrief...somemore today had 3 more people standing around today. I asked Andrew what they were here for...and he said, "To criticise your every note." and I was like -.-" doesn't really help here...hahaha..

Hongkong photos and Graduation Photos will be updated in a short while.

For now, let us enjoy some beautiful verses from the song "Hallelujah"

I love the lyrics from the verses of this song. B-e-a-utiful.

Verses:

Saved by Your mercy
Found in Your grace
Totally surrended to Your embrace
And there's nothing more than You

See Your perfection
I'm lost in Your peace
Your faithfulness sings over me
And Your love is the light of my soul

Bridge:
And I lift my eyes to You
Creator of the world

Chorus:
..................

The verses totally speaks of how we were brought into His kingdom, to be His children. How we were saved. By His Mercy and Grace. There's nothing that can be compare to You. Your faithfulness to me in each and every situation just comforts and amazes me. When I am faithless, You are still there for me, faithful to me. Man, You are a King, who is also my saviour, father, friend and brother. Your love makes my heart joyful and delighted. Indeed, the Light of my world. Praise the Lord.

When I recall what pastor said on sunday, it just makes me laugh. The part about the Most High God. When his mum told him that when she past by idols, they stand in respect. Literally! - She said she saw! wow. No one ever told her that He is the Most high God, but she knew because she saw other spirits bow to Him. Because Christ is in her, they stand in respect. Now, when I pass by the idols, I can imagine them standing in respect to Him (in me)! wow. ahaha..

Serving this week again in Children's music side. 2nd time le. I'm sure the first time He was around. Because I felt that I didn't play well but the worship leader could tell me that she felt it was alright and quite good somemore. I was like "u sure?" - in my head. God must have masked over my mistakes and produce wonderful music on my behalf. This time, they mailed out the songlist as normal (earlier before the rehersal - though this week don't have). Phew~ the last time it was late and it arrived on the day of rehersal itself and I didn't have a single minute to try before that. But thankfully, David was there to guide me along. He was definitely patient with me.

But I don't know the first song for this time, and there's no rehersal! *freak out*
I hope someone has the song...

okie, better go sleep...supposed to wake up for work early tml - though I always end up not waking up and continue to sleep ignoring the guiltiness of not going to work after that. muahahaha...heard they hired another girl to help freezing. Wonder how many days she will stay or will she run away again?

Finally got the stupid fooble or fobble or whatever chatterbox out of the way. Comments below every entry though.

Came back from the HK trip with my closest frens recently. And I really really want to tell u guys that I absolutely loved that trip and all of you present. I enjoyed myself so much that I really didn't feel like coming back. The presence of each and every one of you made my day(s). Not only in the trip but in my life. I am definitely looking forward to our next such gathering or trip. *packing my bags for the next trip now* Oh man, I miss it there!

All the abundance of Mango (the fruit), shopping, *sign, drool*. Will add photos when I have the time..

And my com must meet with some mishap once I come back from my trip. And melis and son, the world's, ok my world's, most expert IT people and also my personal assistants for IT matters, tells me the dreaded word. REFORMAT. Man.............

So I've decided to heed their advice. One would be helping me with the backing-up and the other will help me reformat and then rebuid my computer adding all necessary advanced security system to prevent another such mishap. I told him to set up a toe-print system for access. muahaha...

Been really busy since I came back from hols...but went shopping again on Tues. ahaha...ya...girls can't stop. Oh and ya, I guessed that London would win the hosting platform. Till the next entry...*sniff* having a cold now.
