busy

life's been really busy. Projects, school, work, church....what else...

Over the weekend was Comex 2004. Can you believe that out of 4 days I went 3 times (3 days)?...haha...once to check out prices, 2nd to buy my palm, 3rd to check out and buy chelle/son's camera. This year action i guess was on LCD monitors, thumb/flash drives, MP3 players and digital cameras of course. Super packed even when I went on the first day at 2 plus which was just 2 hours after it first started the exhibition. I wonder who else is working when almost everyone else was there. Shocked. I hate packed places. But too bad....I want to go and I did get something. Or else the trip or trips would have been wasted. haha.

Are you still there?

Olympic Craze

It's been olympics craze for me this whole season, watching it faithfully everyday. Been watching everything from swimming to table tennis to synchro diving to gymnastics to atheletics to platform diving to fencing to archery to whatever u can find ...except soccer and weightlifting. lol...not that I hate soccer or what, but it just didn't interest me. haha.

Realised that there are many excellent, talented youths out there in the world such as Australian Ian thorpe, American Michael phelps, China's Wu minxia, Lao Lishi & the other divers, American gymnastics, etc. All very young. But very lethal as well. Really talented people.

And there is our own Li Jia Wei. I personally feel that she played well. Very well. Her skills were definately better than the korean girls and I think she deserves every bit a bronze or silver medal, maybe not a gold coz China's Zhang Yi Ning is superbly good. I support her all the way and encourage her to go on and work towards another medal at the next olympics. Same too for Ronald Susilo. I really think those who did not support them and just knew how to bring them down and complain and murmured should just reflect upon themselves. If you can do it better, go ahead and get a medal instead of sticking your butt on the chair in front of the tv talking about someone out there who's stressing herself out to win a medal for your country. You probably need some exercise as well.

School's been passing quite fast...with projects already on pace and exams are coming in 1 month time although we have just ended our term break one week ago. Super fast man...and after exams is attachment. I am excited about attachment. Work experience, FYP, etc....mainly because I want that industrial experience. I want to know how's it like to work in this field. To help me decide is this the final place I want to be for the rest of my working career. Or should I pursue something else?.....Really pray that I would get somewhere, something really related. And I thank God for that.

Joke

Rest in peace

One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Alex was staring up at the large plaque that hung in the foyer of the church. The plaque was covered with names, and small American flags were mounted on either side of it. The seven-year-old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up, stood beside him and said quietly, "Good morning, Alex."

"Good morning, Pastor," replied the young man, still focused on the plaque. "Pastor McGhee, what is this?" Alex asked.

"Well, son, it's a memorial to all the men and women who have died in the service."

Soberly, they stood together, staring at the large plaque. Little Alex's voice was barely audible when he finally managed to ask, "Which one, the 9:00 or 10:30 service?
