Back
Back from Tribes 04. Just the effort by the commitee would make me say I enjoyed the camp. The leaders I think were fabulous. And to my surprise, derek and sharmaine are the leaders for the TP care groups. I knew God made me go for the camp for a reason. Probably it's to make me know my brothers and sisters in the caregroup better. Or maybe it's for me to know who else is in the caregroup so that I would not seem so lost in campus the next time i go. lol
I thought I would have ample training and not feel tired by morning. I did put up till 6.30am though..but slowly my eyes drooped by the time it was 7am. Sat through the last part of the camp and finally couldn't help but took a cab home.
Reached home, took a bath, and went to sleep straightaway. All the way to 9pm. And now, wide awake, but still a little tired. Guess I will go to sleep soon too...zzz

First Day of School
Had to wake up at latest 8.30am today..but overslept and woke up at 9am. And lecture starts at 9am. Great. And so, I decided to take a slow ride to school, aiming to arrive just in time for the second hour of lecture instead. Thank God, the first hour was just study guide stuff and crap. Glad he didn't notice an extra person in the second hour.
Then, had a 5-hour break before my next lesson as the first week had no labs/tuts. And so went home to continue my sleeping. lol. And skipped lunch, making me so hungry when I reached school at 4pm for my next lesson..thank God again that she ended much earlier and I got to eat dinner before work.
That's my first day. Kinda boring. All work and no play. Projects coming in......

Result
Just received my theory result on friday, and Praise the Lord!..I actually got a merit! Even my teacher was "shocked" as she referred to us as the never-do-work, never-practise people..lol..But praise the Lord, and among her students, I actually got the highest. Amazing..you know how sometimes you do some things, and you just know it is definitely not you. And then my teacher went on to say...so now, you must practise more ah...blah blah..
School's starting
argh. holidays are gone for now. ARGH.

Serving
I got more than I thought I would get when I went to the wedding today. Reaching the venue, I thought to myself...another typical wedding, where i would know no one, where i will sit in solace somewhere, some corner. I started setting up stuff like normal and stayed around in the ballroom until I realised that there was a crowd outside the ballroom. "Oh yes, the cocktail...where I can get drinks.." I thought.
Little did I know that the bridegroom is from choir and almost the whole choir was invited. It was crowded at the cocktail. The first person I spotted was a sound ministry guy. I tapped on his shoulder and he turned around with the surprised look. Then saw my ex-roommate (in Israel), and then my ex-classmate from St. Hilda's Pri and her family..and my present coursemate from TP...all from choir. (or was previously serving in choir.)..It was a especially pleasant surprise to meet my ex-classmate there. I met her in Israel too. And we had quite a long chat. With her family as well..her mum is still as nice...her brother too. Didn't know her dad though. haha..She looks really pretty now...yes, though she looks more "meaty" (NOT fat) than her primary school self, she looks much more nicer now..taller, sweeter, maybe it's the glory of God on her. Looking forward to meeting up with her again..but she's going to UK soon...to further studies..WOW..praise the Lord..bless her there...hope to still keep in contact with her.
I thank the Lord that I got to "renew" and "rekindle" past relationships through Him like this. Of course I am soOoO glad to meet present brothers and sisters too at such a God-glorifying event. A marriage.
I even got to fellowship more with the logistics guy. A amazing brother in Christ. Thank the Lord for letting him cross my path..
And so...when I thought this was going to be a mundane day...He springs up little surprises and blessings for me. Blessings of relationships. Blessing of just fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters.

Jesus' Victory
by Lucille Golphenee
When Jesus traveled here on earth,
The Gospel He did preach,
And healed the sick, the deaf, the blind,
God's loving care to teach.
Many then believed on Him,
And triedto do His will.
but there were some who hated Him,
And sought the Lord to kill.
When Jesus knew His time had come,
He yielded to their hands.
And one of His disciples, Judas,
Led this wicked band.
They found Him in Gethsemane,
Where He had gone to pray.
Those evil men surrounded Him
And led the Lord away.
Now, Pilate had informed the people
He would at the feast -
Whichever one that they preferred -
A prisoner release.
Then Pilate said,"Come, tell me now
Which one of them do you choose -
Barabbas or this Jesus,
Who is called King of the Jews?"
The people were an angry mob,
And they, with one accord,
Cried out toi save barabbas,
And to crucify the Lord.
The loving Master suffered
Almost more that could be borne,
As they tortured Him and placed
Upon His head, a crown of thorns.
They led Him to Golgotha then,
And nailed Him on the cross.
He bore the sins of the world,
At such a awful cost.
A most terrific earthquake came
When Jesus breathed His last.
The rocks were rent and graves were opened
By this mighty blast.
The people saw the blackened skies
The awesome sights appear.
"He was the Son of God!" they cried,
And shook with anxious fear.
A rich man, Joseph, took the Lord
And laid Him in his tomb.
There He was wrapped three days and nights,
In darkness and in gloom.
But death could not contain Him long:
Our blessed Lord arose,
Triumphant and victorious
Over all His foes.

Normal
Today was kind of a normal day. Nothing much happened. Driving, sleep, food, work. That's all.
Oh and it's Si's first day at work!..her work sounds fun to me. Hope she enjoys her attachment and may supernatural favour be with her!
And to Jin for yesterday's entry, I really think it was from God. lol..

hmm.
ok...I don't know where I can start from. I don't even know where I stopped. heck..anywhere la hah.
Sat 12/06/04
Went out with the girls..really had fun. Seems long that I've gone out with them. Hope to see them all real soon again..(except si..lol..not that I don't want to see you...but because I always see you..and that's great!)
Sun 13/06/04
Served as usual for 1st and 2nd. And the thing that I was dreading happened. My specs broke (after much decaying). So I wasn't wearing for the whole morning, and surprising enough for me, nobody asked me about it!..I thought it was weird. I thought someone would ask something like: "eh, you wearing contacts ah?" or more straightforwardly, "eh, you not wearing your specs/glasses ah?"...but no one bothered. LOL..nvm..that saves me all the "explaining". And then, when we went for lunch, thay had a surprise news for me!(after keeping it from me as a cheap thrill to them..lol)...Jin is saved!..and they asked if I was surprised. I actually guessed it loh..but seriously..I felt that he would get saved sooner or later as in because of recently, recent years. But he seems like he's stepping in with nothing - no knowledge of anything(seems blur). But praise the Lord..that's good. Stepping in with
simply just faith and grace. Nothing to unlearn. Everything to learn. Great! Jin, you don't know much and you don't know Him yet. But from today onwards, you will...know more, and know Him. I pray that you open your heart out to Him, let Him just change you inside out. Let go and let God. You are at your end, but don't worry, He's just at the beginning. Start to think like Him now. No more like the world. Everything you get now is not coincedence, lucky, or whatever the world has to offer. But greatly blessed are you, the child of God. Do not worry about finances, He has abundant. Do not worry about work, people, He will deal with them. Sometimes through you, sometimes through others. Look to Him for strength, courage, love, help, healing, faith and many many other things that are too much for me to write here. Learn at your pace, do not be overwhelmed by people, by words but only by His love. That's dedicated for you today. LOL. Didn't know how I end up typing these here, at this time, today. Maybe that's what the Lord wants to say to you through me. heh. *shrugs shoulders*
Had a great time with the rest as well, though I was the target victim of the day.

Project Genesis
Internal Corporate Correspondence
This was originally written in Russian by Yuriy Nesterenko
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Gabriel, Marketing Director
The market research conducted by our department for the Genesis project, shows that systems of the following configuration will generate the highest level of consumer enthusiasm:
• Planet(s): 1
• Radius: 3,000 km
• Gravitational pull: 0.5g
• Land/Water ratio: 1:1
• Temperature: +24 C
• Atmosphere: Oxygen
• Oceans/Seas: Fresh Water
• Rivers: Milk, Honey
• Fauna: Herbivores
• Peripherals: 2 luminary bodies, (for day, night).
o Orbital Speed: 0.0007 RPM (1 revolution / 24h cycle)
Resolution:
Forwarding to the strategy planning department for preparation.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Michael, Strategy Planning Manager
In order to minimize the overall project costs, I propose we power both luminary bodies using one energy source, and substitute Nitrogen for Oxygen.
Comments:
Leave at least 50% of the oxygen - otherwise we run the risk of user suffocation.
-- Raphael
25% Should suffice.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
In the course of our work on project Genesis, we have run into some difficulties (specifically in the "Let there be Light" phase of the project):
We do not currently have access to a source of uninterrupted light that can be channeled into two separate luminary bodies. I propose we utilize a standard "Red Dwarf" type light source for daytime illumination, and use a mirror for nighttime light.
Comments:
Upgrade to "Yellow Dwarf". The cost differential is minimal, but aesthetically, the look is far more impressive.
-- Gabriel (Marketing dept.)
But that's a multi-client light source! Why would the user need it for a single-planet system?
-- Lucifer
The marketing department will tell to the user what he needs or doesn't need.
-- Gabriel
Lucifer, please restrict your comments to questions within the field of your competence. I'm approving the "Yellow Dwarf".
-- Jehovah
By the way, with the level of light output generated by a Yellow Dwarf, we can use a regular planetoid instead of a mirror.
-- Michael
Agreed.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
The recent deviations from the specification introduced the following problems into the system:
The mass of the uninterruped light source is significantly greater than the mass of the planet. Due to this, the light source cannot be in orbit around the planet. Instead, it is the planet that is orbiting the light source.
Furthermore, due to the energy output of the light source, we are observing surface temperature that consistently exceeds the spec. by a factor of 2. However if we move the planet further away from the light source, the overall dimentions of the system will grow significantly.
Comments:
A larger system will probably benefit us from the marketing standpoint, but the fact that the planet is rotating around a peripheral device may lead to self esteem issues on the part of the user. Could we perhaps change the Gravitational Constant to compensate?
-- Gabriel
Changing the Gravitational Constant will result in compatibility problems down the line
-- Michael
What difference is it to the user what orbits what? Let Marketing come up with some kind of theory of Relativity.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
After the increase in the orbital radius, all attempts to accelerate the planet to specified velocity have consistently lead to a system crash. (The planet escapes from orbit into outer space.)
By the way, the nighttime luminary exhibits the same behavior.
Comments:
The internal behavior of the system is irrelevant. We must deliver on the user experience. Why not make the planet revolve around its own axis? The user will then think that both the Sun and the Moon are orbiting it with the speeds originally specified.
-- Gabriel
Won't the user catch on?
-- Jehovah
Even if he does, it won't be til' the project is long delivered.
-- Gabriel
Agreed.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Raphael, QA & Support Lead
Initial testing has revealed the following defects:
1. We are observing consistent overheating.
2. The axis of revolution has shown a 33 deg. declination from the vertical, resulting in cyclic temperature anomalies.
3. The rivers' throughput falls far short of expectations.
4. Herbivore fauna (as specified) is missing.
5. The orbit is unstable. Planet tends to fall into the Sun.
Resolution:
Forwarding to the tech. department for review.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
1. We are observing consistent overheating.
What else did you expect with that Land/Water ratio? For proper cooling to occur we need a ration of 1:3 - 1:4.
2. The axis of revolution has shown a 33 deg. declination from the vertical, resulting in cyclic temperature anomalies.
We're working on it.
3. The rivers' throughput falls far short of expectations.
This is because milk curdles, and honey crystallizes.
4. Herbivore fauna (as specified) is missing.
Hebivores require vegitation, which cannot grow in this heat without water. I propose to put water into the rivers. This should also help resolve problem (3).
5. The orbit is unstable. Planet tends to fall into the Sun.
We will intoroduce another planet on a larger orbit to serve as a gravitational counterweight.
Comments:
There's not enough room to reduce the landmass. We will have to increase the area of the oceans. This will result in a larger diameter and stronger gravitational pull. Plus the extra planet...
-- Michael
That's allright, the user will just have to live with it. We will present the extra planet as an added feature. However, we have already announced the Milk and Honey, will have to at least leave them in the most prominent rivers.
-- Gabriel
Let me remind you that the deadline for this project is fast approaching, and yet you are still beating a dead horse. Speaking of which, why have the designers not come up with a horse concept yet, and are still mucking about with the dinosaurs? Who needs these dinosaurs anyway?
-- Jehovah
Generally speaking, the user has shown great interest in dinosaurs.
-- Gabriel
Fine. But we must have horses too.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Raphael, QA & Support Lead
1. In addition to the unsolved problems with the axis, the planet now has the tendency to fly away into space.
2. Herbivores are missing again.
Resolution:
Forwarding to the tech. department for review.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
1. In addition to the unsolved problems with the axis, the planet now has the tendency to fly away into space.
We'll add another counterweight, this time on a smaller orbit.
2.Herbivores are missing again.
They seem to have multiplied, ate all the vegitation and died out.
Comments:
How many counterweights do you need?!
-- Michael
All in all after the calibration we were able to stabilize the system at nine.
-- Lucifer
Did I understand correctly? Instead of one planet the user will be getting 9?!
-- Jehovah
So what? Eight of them will be uninhabitable anyway.
-- Lucifer
The user doesn't need to know. Half of these planets cannot be seen without a telescope. I suggest ammending the user manual with an 11-th Commandment: "Thou Shalt Not Invent A Telescope".
-- Gabriel
No. Then they will definitely invent it.
-- Jehovah
By the way, after the orbital radius was increased, the brightness of the night-time light source fell below the specified minimum. I propose using a mirror after all.
-- Raphael
Where were you before? We just finished balancing the system! Should we start over?
-- Lucifer
There will be no starting over! The project deadline is in six days! Lucifer, either make it all work or you will be demoted and transferred to a different post.
-- Jehovah
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To: General Director Jehovah
From: Lucifer, Head of System Technology Department
Lucifer, either make it all work or you will be demoted and transferred to a different post.
How is it my fault, if I didn't get a proper spec?
Anyway... The axis will have to stay angled as it is. The garden of Eden at least, will get +24C, but if the user goes wandering around elswhere, that's his problem. Doesn't look like we'll be able to finish the dinosaurs, but at least the horses will definitely be done. Milk and Honey are out, we made the rivers run with water, although it's bringing salt out into the oceans and seas. We had to introduce some Predators to keep the Herbivores from eating up all the vegetation again. However, we didn't have time to set the predators up to distinguish the users from their prey.
In short, it will all probably work out.
Comments:
Let it be so.
-- Jehovah
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Epilogue
The head of System Technology Department, Lucifer, was in the end demoted and transferred, as punishment for unsanctioned assistance lent to the user in the usability testing phase of project Genesis.

MORE - NCC
Lyrics & Music by Karen Lim
Lord unveil Your face
As i worship You
Reveal Your majesty
Touch my heart anew
Lord unveil my eyes
To see Your glorious truth
The love You give so free
Has drawn my heart to You
I can't help but love You more
When more and more i see
How much i mean to You
Jesus, I can't help but want You more
When more and more I see
Your goodness unto me
I fall in love with You
More and more
I can't help but want You more. As more and more You reveal to me the goodness that you bestow upon me. The grace and mercy that You have so freely given unto me. It makes me love You more each single day that You give me breath. Yes, reveal Your glory and majesty to me, show me truths and promises that will make me even more blessed. Touch my heart anew each time I come into Your presence, let me feel You each time I praise Your name, let me know You are there. Although I want to know how much, just how much I mean to You, Jesus..I know I cannot comprehend the amount of love that You have for me. Or should I say, it cannot even be measured. Lord, let me fall in love with You afresh each single day.
*Thanks to Si for the lyrics of the song as I copied from your blog.

I'm back~!
Yeps..I'm back!..from downunder. Guess quite a few people knew i went and also quite a few people don't. heh. Anyways, I was in Melbourne and Perth for about a week, stopping at mel first before taking a domestic flight over to perth. Yes, I know I'm blessed. And you are blessed too! (by my gifts..haha)..
And it's the first time I am spending my birthday overseas!..haha..received birthday sms-es in aussie..so sorrie to those who sent me sms-es on the day itself...you've got to pay more for the good wishes...lol...But, it was also the first time I've got such a lousy cake. heh. Bought one on-the-spot at some cake shop in melbourne. It looked quite okie at first..but by the time we settled down to eat the cake, it was hmm..kinda smashed. (@#%$&)...already not very nice...and my mum can handle it roughly and smashed it. But somehow we managed to make it look like a cake. LOL...
Melbourne and Perth are very "sight-seeing" places...they don't have those fun places like what "-worlds" or "fun-" around...so they are all scenic places like Grampians, Great Ocean Road, Pinnacles, Swan Valley cruise, King's Park, City tour and stuff..we were on free & easy, so we planned everything ourselves..took lots of pixs and bought lots of things..
Shopping was great there!..There were lots of factory outlet stores and they had great deals..and of course, praise the Lord, we had many helpful passer-bys and people who were willing to help us with bus routes, trams and where to go shopping and eating...lol...we meet quite a few singaporeans as well!..And jap food there is real cheap!..A large bento set costs around A$6.50 only!..If you're going there(PERTH), note this down!..A must visit Jap food is the one in the city centre, near shafto lane, called (TAKA)...REAL nice!!..And also in PERTH, there's this chinese indonesian restaurant, or let's just say shop..lol..coz it's not very big...near lemme see...hmm...oh...on william street, 434A Northbridge William Street. Super nice food as well! And the boss's PR skills are excellent!..real nice people. For melbourne, you should go to the richmond area for shopping...there's the haven for factory outlets and cheap deals..and in that area, there's a food shop called
. Delicious asian food they have there too..i loved the tom yum soup. (And they call it the ...HAHA)..
The food on the first few days were terrible...it was like aussie was western-food infested. Every 5 shops we passed by, 4 were offering stuff like fish&chips. I don't understand why is fish&chips' so popular there. *wonder*...but we got over that after a few days and then food was great!..
Anyways, bought alot of stuff..waiting to give them out!..hehe..and I am hungry..hungry for the Word. man..I miss church. I miss singing for the Lord, I miss singapore food. See Ya all Soon!..update more the next time..
