end of week le...so happie...this week was quite alright...went to library probably for 4 times...to borrow something like 5 books?!...haha. Actually, 2 of them are on design. Interior design. I have always been very interested in Interior design...and it's one of the things i am going to learn when i have the time. Alot of things i wanna learn..(erm...maybe excluding academic wise alrite...meaning if it's like "forced learning" but leisure is okie..)...but the money comes in too...all things u wanna learn usually comes with a cost. But when I have time to spare I always look for things to do la...
And today is somehow the "official" day that i got to know that I have been chosen for the research project!...I've got my first choice -- Proteomics. And when I went to meet my mentor, I got a minor shock. The whole group of 5 pple were made up of
4 guys, and me
1 girl. Great. Now who am I supposed to ask to go to toilet with me and to the canteen to buy food...hahahaha...just joking...And oh...our mentor IS a guy. An australian guy. He is quite alright la..quite a nice lecturer.
Briefed us on the project, what we can expect to do, what is going on, what he is ordering in using the huge grant he got from the school (which he said is pretty easy to get...) and finally any questions that we posed to him...And listening to him talk about all these is getting me all excited about the project. I just love the freedom we gonna get from this project and him. Example, like we can access the lab anytime, do some stuffs ourselves...blah blah...so it's rather exciting. For the timebeing, we are just waiting for out stuffs to come in as he ordered stuffs for us...like new micropipettes, brand new equipment...gels...stuffs...hehehhee...get to use good stuff man! And you dun hav to produce a learning issues, action plan and minutes from all these....might not even have to do a report. GREAT. heh
okie...tml have my 2nd driving lesson...in the morning..hope my dad can fetch me there...hehehe...then dun need to take some long bus ride there. bye..nites...shalom and God bless...
