end of week le...so happie...this week was quite alright...went to library probably for 4 times...to borrow something like 5 books?!...haha. Actually, 2 of them are on design. Interior design. I have always been very interested in Interior design...and it's one of the things i am going to learn when i have the time. Alot of things i wanna learn..(erm...maybe excluding academic wise alrite...meaning if it's like "forced learning" but leisure is okie..)...but the money comes in too...all things u wanna learn usually comes with a cost. But when I have time to spare I always look for things to do la...

And today is somehow the "official" day that i got to know that I have been chosen for the research project!...I've got my first choice -- Proteomics. And when I went to meet my mentor, I got a minor shock. The whole group of 5 pple were made up of 4 guys, and me 1 girl. Great. Now who am I supposed to ask to go to toilet with me and to the canteen to buy food...hahahaha...just joking...And oh...our mentor IS a guy. An australian guy. He is quite alright la..quite a nice lecturer.

Briefed us on the project, what we can expect to do, what is going on, what he is ordering in using the huge grant he got from the school (which he said is pretty easy to get...) and finally any questions that we posed to him...And listening to him talk about all these is getting me all excited about the project. I just love the freedom we gonna get from this project and him. Example, like we can access the lab anytime, do some stuffs ourselves...blah blah...so it's rather exciting. For the timebeing, we are just waiting for out stuffs to come in as he ordered stuffs for us...like new micropipettes, brand new equipment...gels...stuffs...hehehhee...get to use good stuff man! And you dun hav to produce a learning issues, action plan and minutes from all these....might not even have to do a report. GREAT. heh

okie...tml have my 2nd driving lesson...in the morning..hope my dad can fetch me there...hehehe...then dun need to take some long bus ride there. bye..nites...shalom and God bless...

start school le...after a long holiday. Heard people talking about how their chinese new year visiting was, or some didn't even get out of their house at all. haha.

super tired today as i went to school in the morning. guess i was really drained from the visiting we went yesterday. And some of them are going to malaysia, chee's JB house. And I can't because of my stupid timetable that clashes with them. Great.

Skipped the first lecture, but realised that (later when i came for the next lecture) there was no lecture. Praise the Lord...wisdom~...hahaha...no la...just being lazy.
But when i went to school, the first thing my friend said when she saw me was - Just woke up ah?...mi gosh...i was thinking, - so obvious ah?!...hahaha

Came home at around 7pm and slept all the way to 10pm. Could even do without dinner i think for the sake of sleep. But still ate something at 10.15pm. Something that my dad bought from Kallang Airport for me. Not very nice. Cold and Sticky. haha..Sounds yucky eh.
Then went to do some work like drawing graphs and stuff and then do my usualk online stuffs...now about to go to sleep again. Think i better really really start sleeping earlier and more. My eyebags and dark rings are getting real bad. sigh...=*

3rd day of chinese new year le...collected quite abit of angpows and won quite a lot playing some games...hehehe..*i noe it's not good...*...

Just read someone's blog...and it kept me wondering. and sometimes wondering about something is realli troublesome but yet you don't want to know the answer straight but want to guess...or want to know the answer but don't want the questioner to know that you know. haha...i know that's quite impossible. so i would rather not know than ask. so hmm...lol

todae had to settle alot of things....for church service tml, and for visiting tml...think i used up about 200 smses...haha..no kidding!...finally settled it.

wah....todae serve all 4 again...tired now...but when i was serving it was nothing...full of joy, refresh and fun. Wonderful to sit and receive (in parts) but of course i would prefer sitting in to worship the King and just sit at His feet and receive. hehehe....next week loh...

I love what pastor asked us to do or what the Lord asked us to tell Him about at the end of the sermon...to dedicate whatever you want to the Lord. It could be your talents that you want to trust Him to flourish and of course use it to glorify His name, it could be your studies, it could be your career, it could be growth in your spiritual life. I have been wanting to do this or say this prayer long time since the start of the year. Finally, I have gotten down to saying those things to Him todae...but i felt that i was unclear and missed out some things...hahaha...so I am going to repeat again to Him tonight...hehehe...I know He heard me...but I feel so messy that I want to do it again...hehehe...perfectionist eh...

I think everyone should do this every start of the year...to tell Him what you want to acheive out of this year, and see it realise at the end of the year. That's what I expect to happen at the end of this year. or even before the end of the year. Amen.

Tomorrow (or looking at the time now..todae) we gonna have a test. great. I haven't studied for it and the lecturer didn't even go through it and peeps are even unsure of what chapter to studie. gosh. hmm...maybe the first thingy that I must dedicate is this test, which of course I am going to. And now I feel like sleeping. zzzz....and I must wake up at 7.15am to reach school at 7.55am for a project meeting. haix....if not for meeting our facilitator...i won't have to wake up so earli...haix....going off now...to studie...and wanna sleep...

Oh...my mum is cooking abalone for me now!!...suprising?...hehehe...abalone and vegetables...mmmm....

alreadi into 2nd week of achool and I realised I am super busy this sem too...realli must put things in order to fit in everything...

we had the first blood taking practical this sem...well, last time we had to take some blood sometimes too..but not that often la...but this sem will be often le...todae was finger pricking...mind you...finger pricking doesn't mean it's small and not painful...you never know!
my first prick was nothing...no feeling nothing..but the second prick made me jump!...haha...and both times the prick was either too small or not deep enough or whatever so i couldn't collect any blood at all...and my lab partner suggested one more try. And i was like...NOooOoo......haha enough of it...

but quite fun la...quite relaxed...some peeps had gross gloves after the practical...whole glove covered with blood that kind...haha...not that the person lost a lot of blood la...onli need to collect 0.5ml...but maybe we don't noe how to get the blood out properly and then the blood went all over the gloves loh...haha...and the person that i did for said..."You prick not painful...but the way u tried to get blood (by "massaging the finger") was more painful...haha,....i think all my knuckles crack alreadi."...ahahaha...i guess i was a bit forceful...haha...but nice drops of blood leh...

then we tried the traditional kind of drawing blood that u see often too..the one from the vein in our arm...we didn't try on each other of course la...so scary...cannot la...we tried on dummy...haha..quite interesting..was supposed to have water inside the dummy so that we can draw out water and see if we poke correctly...but somehow, the water didn't seem to flow properly...and we didn't have any...haha...till next prac then...hmm....hope no more finger pricking...haha...i can prick others but not me la...but have to try on each other...then............?

4th day of school le...nothing much to say...but think i am getting bored in lectures. I can't realli concentrate and keep talking to the one beside me...but todae's lecture on haem was quite interesting considering the fact that ms tan took 20 mins to show us a slide presentation on herself (first time in my school life that i see my lecturer's/teacher's slides presentation!)...quite funny. Then another 20 mins spent on talking about stories like coffee coloured blood and pyrexia. And then another 20 mins drawing on the board. And another 10 mins saying anouncements. Another 5 mins on what we are going to do in practical next week...drawing some blood...asking whether anyone is terrified of blood....So she spent onli apporximately 35 mins during a 2-hr lec to teach us 7 slides. Great lecturer isn't she?.....more interesting lectures from her to come...muahahaha

then later in the afternn i went to ubi driving centre to book my advanced and buy my PDL....thank God swa came with me...or else I would be super lost coz that was the first time i went from school. Thanks swa...she even accompany me to the counter to book. haha...coz she said she had "plenty" of time....haha...so got my PDL and book my test date on the 5th of feb...but it's at queenstown...quite far coz the ubi test date is during the term test...so better not....hahaha...just have to travel loh...

Beautiful Song. I can't forget the moment we sang this song on Mount of Olives facing Jerusalem. Right in front of Jerusalem. Right before your eyes. It was awesome. It was touching when everything becomes so real in the song. Amazing. i don't know why...but for the past week i haven't been able to access any blogspot.com blogs. everytime i click on someone's blog ending with blogspot.com, it redirects me back to blogger.com. at first i thought it was only me and my com. But i soon realised that someone was having the same problem as me. I wonder if you have the same problem. But if you are reading my blog, you certainly don't have this problem. hahaha...

School has started and this is the 3rd day. So far so good. But projects are starting, work and tests are soon coming. This sem is realli going to be gone real fast and I have to work hard. I want to get more As and less Cs...haha...and to be sure of what i am learning...

But I am also starting on my driving lessons and so will still be super packed. Hope my work does not interfere with my studies. after cny, i am going to request that i strictly work only 2 days a week. Hope they sae with a definate yes. haha...going off to do some work and printing ....byebye

my sis's birthday todae (3rd Jan)....had a busy time filming her party for her...following her all around and getting her frens to sae personalised birthday wishes for her. well, that was my idea. She hasn't seen it yet. But if it was my birthday, I would love someone to do film all my frens saying something personal for me to review after my birthday. Something special to remember my 21st birthday by.

Thinking of birthdays, I realised I am going to be 19 soon....so fast...I have already been here on earth for 19 years, I have already finished 12 years of school. It has already been 3 years after my O levels - which seem like only yesterday. It is another year more to my graduation from poly. So fast~~.....oh migosh.....haix...thought I was still young. But peeps who are older always say...still so young...haha...well...

School's starting soon. Dreaded. haha....miss my frens but to think of waking up early almost everyday except thurs make me.....haix....grace grace....hope...no, pray that I get great teachers, that I get great grades and I will pull my GPA up to before....hahaha...Amen!
