todae was new year's eve and I went to Dee's house for the new year's eve party...I brought roast chicken wings and they were snapped up i tell u...Food there was great. Everyone brought amazingly delicious food - belachan fried rice, beef stew, onion soup, mashed potatos, duck, chicken, fruit salad, vietnam popiah, satay, mango and apple strudel, chocolate "moose"..haha...cake, fruits, bee hoon, etc. It was fabulous. Then we fellowshipped and we had fun. Deacon Jeff brought his video of Israel and we watch the moments we had in Israel and of course they were alot of funnie bits. I believe everyone had fun although some of us didn't get to countdown together..I was one of those who left earli. I left around 11 plus.
Coz I joined Dr. Ng and Jean and Huiting to go and eat (AGAIN!) at Goodwood Park Hotel. haha...we countdown there and the chefs and workers there were realli happening..take all the pots and pans and water bottles (like storm) and made so much noise to usher in the new year. haha...had fun on new year's eve...God bless this new year and 1000x more blessings for me and you!
Oh...and I got my ring todae..finally...long awaited ring..next time show to u okie?...Jesus Loves Yan Fen!

hmm...very busy these few days that's why never update...
Went to church todae and it was quite a refreshing...msg was very good..and pastor also hasn't preach for a "long" time....met alot of people from my trip during the 3 services I was there and we said hello and BLESSED NEW YEAR!!....Dee's having a new year eve gathering and has invited me!!...hehheee...but i don't know yet if it's a potluck kind of session, where i have to bring food..so..wait for his e-mail or ring. Then went shopping with my mum, sis and cousin. Not too bad I would say, bought 2 things and my much awaited photo album.

Tried to upload my photos into the net so that pple can see...but after much effort...after 2 hours of waiting onli like what, 20? photos were uploaded...I don't know why and what the heck is going on...and I finally got frustrated after say 3 to 4 hours of dabbling in this uploading and checking photos online stuff...(quite patient I would say)...and finally went to do other stuff and arrange my real pics in order for putting into my album.

And till now, I've only done the first and second page of my album. Because some of my front pictures are missing and not yet developed. And just getting the photos in date and time order was a hard work. Spent like maybe an hour on it?...at last I finished and am now left with developing them tomorrow. And I want to sleep now. Oh mi gosh. And I need to pack up my room..in a mess since i started to cut papers and maps and stuff to decorate my album and my photos are lying everywhere coz i divided them to boundaries with dates. hahaha...okieokie...

Shall go pack up a bit now so that I can sleep earlier. Like real earli. Time is 4.05am now.

had sound gathering todae(26/12). Everything was fine, most people came (late) except for a few, but nevertheless, I felt it was quite good....especially with the "jokers" around...entertaining us with the funnie conversations. Food was not bad quite good leh...lionel told me it was actualli the caterer they usually use for funerals..but they also cater to normal gatherings too...then i was like "erm..."...haha...but not bad...realli nice...then the uncle also quite nice...keep talking to us...and cares alot for us...like say what going to rain must put the food under shelter...blah blah...haha...
Quite fruitful this gathering as I see the rest of the ministry all together not often. This is one of the times..and i think it's not bad...at least people talk. hahaha...and it's in bedok. but too bad that nite I wasn't going home...

headed off to hotel rendezvous. we(normal frens) decided to book a hotel rm for this year's christmas gathering so stay overnight. we exchanged presents at like 11pm? on boxing day. Everybodie's presents were so nice and thanks all for your presents...I LOVE THEM and you for your present. hehe...

then we wanted to catch a movie (27/12) at plaza singapura but the shows were all sold out!...haiz...so we thought walk to orchard cine to catch it...but the movie screening were all the not nice shows...and so we left...and we went to shaw...but it was closed alreadi...and we were tired....from walking.
So, no movie to catch, we walked all the way back again. At the same time, we bought some food back too, some bought cup noodles, some snacks, some water....heavy ah..hahaha...then went back, we played the whole night through, while some slept...about 7 pple played the name game...it was fun...with us breaking into fits of laughter every 2 mins or maybe secs. haha..then it was to monopoly which we probably played for 2 hours?..5 pple played that...*sorrie han if I pinched u abit too much..hehe...didn't realise.

until 7 plus, we stopped playing coz most were tired. I went home with si to sleep...because I know there cannot sleep one la...then i had work in the afternn...so better go home for some quality sleep...and off to dreamland...zzzzzzz

well well....there are too many things i can say about the trip to israel. And so I think I would take too long to actualli describe my whole trip...But I could sae we were greatly blessed during the trip. I didn't feel such a great impact of God's presence and neither did it change me much...only probably I would look at some of the verses in the bible differently from now on. Like the view from the sea of Galilee, Jordan River, Mount of Olives...blah blah...but most importantly I feel that this trip was more of fellowshipping than anything else...ehehe....at least got to know more people closer than before when u didn't even know them at all...and only on the last day that i realise that I am going to miss israel and my tourguide and driver...we were really blessed by them as well..they were really good!!..okieokie...i will continue another...got to go prepare my prezzies for pple le...nites!

From Daily Bread :

JOY TO THE WORLD

While walking home from a church service in Southampton, England, 20-year-old Isaac Watts told his father that the metrical psalms sung at their services lacked the dignity and beauty that should characterize hymns used in worship. His father encouraged him to try to create something better. So in the year 1694, Isaac Watts began writing hymns, and eventually put the book of Psalms into rhyming meter for worship.

Watts took the prophetic references to the coming Messiah in the Psalms and expressed them in their New Testament fulfillment. His hymns proclaimed that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord. When Watts came to Psalm 98, he wrote:

Joy to the world! The Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heaven and nature sing.
Joy to the earth! The Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy.

This hymn has become a favorite of the Christmas season. It calls us to acknowledge Christ as Savior and King, and to open our hearts to His rule of love and grace.

The psalmist wrote, "Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!" (98:1). Isaac Watts did just that in his proclamation that Christ has come, and we can rejoice in Him. —David McCasland

To find joy at Christmas, look to Jesus.

just read someone's blog...and then totally agree on sometings he wrote while some things i dun...hehehe...
and my mum is pressing me to go get the flu jab. I don't need it and I don't want it. But she's like - u don't get it, u don't go on the trip. And so...what do ya think?
But I know I have the Lord's protection on everything I do, go and etc. So...whatever...I HATE injections. But still, I don't think I can escape the jab.

My inner child is sixteen years old today

My inner child is sixteen years old!

Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:23-25

You are so faithful

Like the sun
that rises everyday
O You are so faithful
Dear Lord You are faithful

Like the rain
that You give with every breath that i breathe
You are so faithful O Lord

Like a rose
that comes alive every spring
O You are so faithful
Dear Lord You are faithful

Like the life
that You give to every beat of my heart
You are so faithful O Lord

I see the cross
and the price You had to pay
I see the blood
that washed my sins away

In the midst of the storms
Through the winds and the waves
You still be faithful
O You still be faithful

When the stars refuse to shine
And time is no more
You still be faithful
You still be faithful O Lord

Like a rose
That comes alive every spring
You are so faithful
Dear Lord You are faithful

Like the life
That You give to every beat of my heart
You are so faithful O Lord

I see the cross
And the price You had to pay
I see the blood
That washed my sins away

In the midst of the storms
Through the winds and the waves
You still be faithful
O You still be faithful

When the stars refuse to shine
And time is no more
You still be faithful
You still be faithful my Lord

Great is thy faithfulness...You are so faithful O Lord...in times of storms or happines...You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You are so faithful O lord...when I am faithless. You are so faithful O Lord to Your promises..my prayers...wonderful wonderful Lord.
